In 2017, Deborah Rose, former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of B2B Bank was named as one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).

Laurentian Bank received an OCTAS award from the IT ACTION Network ­­– the Bank was recognized for its workstation virtualization project in the infrastructure category.

2013

Corporate awards and distinctions.


In 2013, Chain Store Age magazine’s international Retail Store of the Year competition recognized Laurentian Bank for its second-generation financial services boutique concept. That year, the Bank received an honourable mention in the Service category (15,000 sq. ft. or less).


Laurentian Bank was once again ranked by Corporate Knights among the 10 Canadian organizations with the highest level of female representation on their Board of Directors.

2012

In 2012, Laurentian Bank was among the 10 national winners of Knightsbridge Strategic Talent’s Canada’s Passion Capitalists program.


The Corporate Knight organization ranked Laurentian Bank among the top 10 Canadian enterprises for female representation on its Board of Directors.


The Bank was a finalist in the Proactive Human Resources Management category of the Les Mercuriades business competition, as awarded by the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce.

In 2012, Forbes magazine named former Laurentian Bank Board member, Isabelle Courville, the 39th most influential businesswoman outside of the United States.


Stéfanie Pelletier, former Vice-President of Finance at Laurentian Bank, received the Aces of Finance Award presented by the Quebec section of FEI (Financial Executives International) Canada.

2011

Laurentian Bank was among the winners of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures competition (Quebec and Atlantic Canada region), as presented by the Waterstone Human Capital human resources firm.


In 2012, a J.D. Power survey ranked the Bank as the second major Canadian bank for its retail client satisfaction.


According to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in the monthly Les Affaires, the Bank was recognized for a third consecutive year as the second most admired banking institution among Quebecers.


The Bank’s Pickyourmoment.ca multimedia campaign was recognized as one of the top three Canadian media strategies in the Financial Products and Services category under the banner of the Media Innovation Awards.

Laurentian Bank’s former Chairman of the Board , Mr. L. Denis Desautels, was honoured by the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants. The Tribute Award recognized his exceptional contributions as an exemplary builder.

According to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in the monthly Les Affaires, the Bank was recognized for a second consecutive year as the second most admired banking institution among Quebecers.


Laurentian Bank was the recipient of an OCTAS Award in the IT project Management category for its Evolution Chip Card project. Organized by the IT ACTION Network, this competition recognizes the best accomplishments within Quebec’s information technologies sector.

2009

The Bank was inducted into the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce’s Quebec Business Hall of Fame, which pays tribute to enterprises that have significantly marked the last century through their ability to consistently remain a leader, and for their contribution to the province’s development in Canada and abroad.


The Responsible Investment Group, on behalf of Sustainable Vision, named Laurentian Bank as one of the 20 Best Corporate Citizens in Quebec. The Bank was recognized for its transparency.


Laurentian Bank was recognized as the second most admired banking institution among Quebecers according to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in Commerce Magazine.


The Bank received an award at the ÉLIXIR Gala organized by PMI (Project Management Institute) – Montreal in recognition of project management excellence. The Bank earned this distinction in the Information Technology and Communication category for its M.E.T.R.O. technological environment modernization and operational enhancement project.


The organization was a finalist in the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce’s Les Mercuriades business competition in the Market Development category.

Laurentian Bank’s Board of Directors received a Blue Tie at the Institute of Corporate Directors Gala for its contribution to the Bank’s excellent financial and stock performance.

François Desjardins, former President and CEO of Laurentian Bank’s B2B Trust subsidiary, received an Arista Award in the Young Quebec Executive category. Presented by the Young Chamber of Commerce Montreal, this distinction underlines the contribution of young executives within the ranks of an enterprise or public, para-public, community or non-profit organization.

2007

According to the SECOR-Commerce Internet Index (Commerce Magazine), Laurentian Bank’s website was ranked 3rd among the top 25 electronic commerce sites in Quebec.


The Bank’s La Banque de ma maison microsite, which focuses on the 4 major steps involved in buying a home in a simple and refreshing way, was recognized during the Digital Marketing Awards. This annual event honours the best interactive marketing productions in Canada.


The La Banque de ma maison microsite was also recognized in the B2C – Large Enterprise Internet Sites category at the Boomerang Gala, which pays tribute to the best interactive communications in Québec.
