About the loan.

Fixed-rate loan

Converted to a fixed-rate loan on January 19, 2024 for 3 years, until December 31, 2026.

Annual rate

Offered with an annual interest rate of 5% until paid back in full.

Monthly payments

Required on outstanding balances for the duration of the loan, and the principal will be repayable on December 31, 2026.

Withdrawal date

The first interest withdrawal date was February 19, 2024.

How to repay your CEBA loan.

If you were not eligible for an extension, you were required to pay back your remaining balance before December 31, 2023. To make a payment:

Log in to LBCDirect.

From the menu, select “Pay Bills”, then “Payees”.

Choose “Add Payee” and enter the payee’s name, “BLC-COVID-19-CEBA-CUEC”. Select “Search”.

Enter the first 12 digits of your loan number as the reference number and select “Add Payee”.

Select "Pay Bills" and the account to be debited. Enter the amount and date you want to repay the loan.

This will be applied to your loan within the next 5 to 6 business days.
