Modern and user-friendly interface
LBC e-Flex will offer a simpler navigation and more intuitive experience than the existing platform. Its new design will be more aligned with our other platforms, such as LBCDirect.
-
Simplified connection and reinforced security
To connect to LBC e-Flex, you will no longer need a user code. This code will be replaced by your email address. In addition, to enhance efficiency, each User or Administrator will be able to reset their password on their own. We will also be introducing 2-step verification when you connect to the LBC e-Flex platform. This reinforced security function is the same as the one currently in place on LBCDirect. To learn more about 2-step verification, view the FAQ.
Thanks to this new way of connecting, you will no longer be required to select an image or answer a security question.
-
New type of read-only access
In addition to the types of access already available to you on the EFT platform, you will now be able to assign read-only access to users of your choice. This access will allow them to review information contained in the LBC e-Flex platform without being able to carry out actions like downloading a file or creating a transaction or template. This increases the security of your account and can reduce the risk of error.
-
Unique access to all your different entities
More excellent news for clients with numerous entities is the fact that their unique LBC e-Flex access will enable them to access all their entities from a dropdown menu. You will no longer need to manage multiple logins because everything will be grouped in one place.
-
Ability of having multiple initiator codes
You will be able to have several initiator codes based on the bank account you wish to use and the type of transaction you want to make.
What is an initiator code?
An initiator code allows for tracking your transactions in our internal banking system. Each code is linked to one of your bank accounts (according to your instructions) and allows for making debit or credit transactions. An initiator code looks like this: COMPAINC25
You must know your initiator code(s) when contacting us to follow up on a transaction. For more details, consult the user manual that will be transmitted to you prior to the migration to the new platform.
-
Information banner on the LBC e-Flex platform
The new platform will feature a banner that will share important information of an operational nature, such as system maintenance dates, holidays and other details that could affect use of the platform. This banner will help you better plan your transactions.
-
Advanced search filter
You will be able to conduct more precise searches thanks to a number of filters available to you. The advanced search filter will apply to each section of the platform. For example, if you are in the “Transactions” section, the search will be conducted within that same section.
-
Revised nomenclature
We have changed our way of referencing a number of approvers. More specifically, the “2 eye” designation will be replaced by “1 approver”, “4 eyes” by “2 approvers” and “6 eyes” by “3 approvers”.
In addition, the “super administrator” term will become “administrator”.
-
Two limits instead of one
Currently, each of your users has a single limit that encompasses their transaction approval and creation limits. Within LBC e-Flex, every user will have two distinct limits — one approval limit and one creation limit. As an administrator, you will be able to assign each of your users a transaction creation limit distinct from their transaction approval limit, depending on their specific needs. This represents an additional, even more secure way of providing access to your LBC e-Flex account.
Important: To ease the process, upon migration to LBC e-Flex, the transaction approval and creation limits will be the same as those already set for each user in the EFT platform. Once the migration is completed, you will be able to modify each user’s limits directly in LBC e-Flex.
