Macha Pohu

Macha Pohu serves as Laurentian Bank’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She is recognized for her ability to build high-performing and engaged teams, as well as for her leadership style, which promotes integrity, teamwork and innovation.

In her current role, Macha supports the Bank’s strategic objectives by ensuring that the talent strategies and organizational culture are aligned with the Bank’s ambitions for growth, transformation and delivering excellent customer experience.

Macha has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, during which she has held management positions in distribution, information technology and human resources. She holds an MBA in Financial Services from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

She also holds ITIL certifications and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
