Thierry Langevin

As of October 2023, Thierry Langevin is Executive Vice-President, Commercial Banking. He leads this sector by offering financing and leasing solutions, investment products, transactional services and international services through specialized teams. He brings in-depth industry knowledge in three areas of lending: real estate, equipment, and inventory. These activities cover a range of different sectors across Canada and the United States, including transportation, construction, technology and office equipment, manufacturing, corporate aviation and recreational products.

Mr. Langevin has over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, joining Laurentian Bank in 2013 as Vice President, Commercial Banking. Upon his appointment, the main objective was to create and develop the Equipment Finance division, which began in 2014. Under his leadership, Laurentian Bank acquired CIT Canada in 2016, a major step that led to the creation of LBC Capital. This first successful acquisition in the equipment financing sector paved the way for a second acquisition in 2017, Northpoint Commercial Finance, our North American inventory financing subsidiary. Thanks to LBC Capital and Northpoint Commercial Finance, we have a solid end-to-end equipment financing platform, recognized for its simplicity and excellent customer service. Mr. Langevin holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the Université de Sherbrooke.
