Termination of epost™ service
Canada Post will be ending its epostTM service in 2022. Your last epostTM statement will be sent to you in September 2022. Moreover, all mail in your epostTM mailbox will be deleted at the end of December 2022. In the meantime, if you wish to keep your current epostTM statements on file, you can download, save or print your statements. For more information, see Canada Post's Frequently Asked Questions.
Your last epostTM statement will be sent to you in September 2022.
No action is required from you at this time. Laurentian Bank will continue to produce eStatements and other documents after September 2022. We will update you regarding changes to eStatements delivery.
You will continue to receive eStatements after September 2022 via online banking with LBCDirect. Rest assured, we will notify customers before September 2022 about how these statements will be delivered. Should we experience delays in deploying our new solution, your statements will be temporarily sent to you in paper format. In this case, we will not apply the $3 fee.
Laurentian Bank will continue to offer eStatements once epostTM is discontinued. Details on how to access these statements will be sent later this year. In the meantime, if you wish to keep your current epostTM statements on file, you can download, save or print your statements before the end of December 2022.
Log in to your LBCDirect account and select the “Messages” tab. There you will find your epostTM inbox with a list of your monthly statements. Click “View” to open the electronic file. Your account statement will open in a new epostTM browser window.
From there you can:
- Download the file and save it as a PDF.
- Forward the file to another user.
- Print the file.
We will contact you later this year regarding changes and updates to eStatements. For any questions on epostTM, please refer to the FAQs on the Canada Post website.
After December 31st, 2022, access to epostTM will no longer be available. No action is required from you at this time. Nevertheless, we encourage you to print or download your current eStatements to your personal files. For more information, please refer to the epostTM FAQs on the Canada Post website.
You will continue to receive eStatements after September 2022 through our online banking service, LBCDirect. We will keep you informed of our new statement system and how this will impact your banking habits.
You can sign up for the epostTM service until the end of June 2022. After that, you will not be able to sign up for epostTM. Once the transition to Laurentian Bank eStatements is completed, our epostTM customers will automatically be included in our new eStatement delivery system.
